The Salvation Army of La Crosse Emergency Shelter provides a safe shelter for families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
We also provide assistance in the form of case management to those within out shelter to assist them in finding employment, affordable sustainable housing, and more.
In addition to being assigned a Case Manager shelter residents receive 3 meals a day (and snacks), access to showers and laundry facilities.
Every year, hundreds of men, women, and children are provided emergency shelter and fed over 80,000 meals. Community support makes all this possible.
Donations of supplies, dollars, and volunteer staffing help ensure the emergency shelter continues serving those in the biggest need.

The Intake Worker I (Shelter Advocate I) provides support to the Shelter Manager and Social Services Director by providing supervision and intake of clients, maintaining security, and providing supportive services in a Christian atmosphere.

Certifications : N / A
Experience : Experience working with the homeless population desirable
